How to Make Broccoli Stir Fry

Hi! I am Chef Keith Snow. Welcome to my kitchen. I want to show you a very quick broccoli stir fry. First thing we are going to do is turn on our wok here. It is a pretty heavy duty wok. We are going to turn on our fan and we have three cups of broccoli florets and this is an organic broccoli that has just been blanched in some boiling water just to tenderize a little bit so we do not need to cook it so long in there. So here we have some flavor list pure olive oil. We are going to put two tablespoons of that in there and then some of our aromatic ingredients. Shallots and ginger and then we have a little bit of garlic and these we just want to start tossing around in our oil just to release some other flavors. And we are going to heat it up a little and once this kind of sweat out a little bit we are going to take the rest of our broccoli or whole of our broccoli, I should say, come up in there. In this point were going to sizzle very lightly with just a pinch of salt because were going to add some soy sauce which is that is salt is it not?

A little bit of black pepper just want to toss this around and now we will add tablespoon of toasted sesame oil it has a nice taste and flavor couple tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce and that is the real brewed type. This is a great vegetable dish is light and has a great flavor. So now we will scoop it out onto our serving dish and this will be certainly be enough for a family. And there you have it a very simple stir fry of broccoli, give that one a try.
