How to Make Caramel Sauce
You can't have ice cream without caramel sauce. Let me show you how it’s done.
This recipe contains cream, corn syrup, water, and sugar. Your sugar, water and corn
syrup all go into your pot, turn your stove to high. Don’t worry about whisking it. The
corn syrup will keep the sugar from crystallizing. As the sugar heats, it will dissolve into
a liquid and it will come to a boil. Keep your eye on it. It can burn very quickly.
Now you're going to add the cream all at once but be careful because it’s going to boil
and bubble, so get ready to whisk. Wait for it to cool a bit and then pour it into a Pyrex
container. So just put it in the fridge to cool, good for about a week.
