Female Speaker: Do you guys like pepper?
Speaker: Yeah.
Female Speaker: You do? Okay, good. I'll put some pepper in there and then a little bit of crushed -- again, it's nice to see right away in the beginning, all your onions in there?
Speaker: Yeah.
Female Speaker: Great! Come around here, you want to dump it in, dump them away from you so that doesn't splash towards you. Good job! We pour it this way, then if it splashes, it splashes away from you instead of dumping like this and it would splash towards you. Rachael(ph) are you really to throw all your stuff in the bowl?
Speaker: Yup.
Female Speaker: Okay. Once you throw that in there you could throw it in the soup and then let's stir. Anybody know what this is?
Speaker: Parsley.
Female Speaker: This isn't parsley. It is a leaf, it is a bay leaf. These are dry bay leaves and they have just a little bit of smell, can you smell them? Good! Tiny bit, and what are they is a seasoning. We usually use very mild, isn't it? For our sachets, which is just a little bag of spices that we used to season stocks and soups, I'm just going to throw those right in. if you don't want to eat them, come on over, you can dump yours right in, remember, dump away from yourself. Good job!
Okay. Now stir. Oops! my timer. So that means my eggs are done, right? So I have my dry towel because this is going to be a hot pan and I don't want to grab that without my towel and I'm going to come behind you and I'm going to put them in the sink and run cool water over them so they're ready to be peeled by us. Cool water.
Speaker: Shall I put the parsley in this?
Female Speaker: I would love that. That would be great and Racheal(ph), you can scoop those up and put that in the soup as well.
Good! You remember, dump away from yourself, hold on tight to the bowl. Good job! Now, this is just a soup waiting to simmer. It's pretty already and you guys made it. I'm just going to put a lid on that, so it goes a little bit faster. Now the fun part. We are going to make egg salad and the reason why I chose egg salad is because obviously it's pretty easy, you just boil the eggs once those are done and cool, you just mash them up.
