Hi! I’m Sarah Jordan and I want to be the next star of the Food Network. I love good food, good wine, and I love entertaining friends and family.
Today, I’m making chicken stuff with prosciutto and a garlic herb goat cheese. It’s so delicious and so easy to make. But before I begin, I always like to serve my guest something to snack on while I’m in the kitchen cooking. I was recently in Italy in the beautiful town of Siena and I have this amazing fresh pecorino cheese which was served with honey.
So this is a great example of something I like to serve to my guest. I think there’s nothing better than learning about new foods than by sharing it with other people.
Now onto the chicken, you want to use thinly sliced chicken breast and make sure you season it well with salt and pepper. Place the prosciutto on top and then take the goat cheese which I’ve already added finely minced garlic, chives, and parsley to. Place it in the center, roll up the chicken, and secure it with a toothpick.
Now, that you have your finished rolls, you want to pan fry them on medium high heat for approximately 10 minutes or until they’re cooked through and golden brown. You want to make sure you start with a really hot pan. You can add your oil and a bit of butter. At this point, you can add your chicken.
And here is the finished chicken. You can see how beautifully it looks with the wrapped prosciutto and the creamy goat cheese. Now with a dish like this, I like to serve a Riesling. It’s a sweeter wine and it pairs nicely with the salty prosciutto and the creamy gooey goat cheese.
I hope you enjoy this dish and I hope you choose me, Sarah Jordan as the next star of the Food Network.
