Hi, there. I’m Yana and welcome to my kitchen. Today we’re going to be making a Thanksgiving dessert, chocolate peanut butter Pecan tart.
The first thing that we’re going to start with is heavy cream and we’re going to boil it in a large sauce pan. There’s a little tip from my mom. She says that when you’re boiling heavy cream, you want to be careful just stop boiling it and to take it off from the heat once you see a little bubbles around the prim.
The next thing that we’re going to do is we’re going to put 16 ounces of chocolate into a big mixing bowl. The cream is starting to boil so now we’re going to add four tablespoons of butter to the large sauce pan to melt with the cream.
What I’m going to do is I’m going mix it a little bit because we’ve just added that—of butter. Now, I’m going to take this boiled mixture of heavy cream and butter and pour it over the hot chocolate. I’ll pour over the chocolate we’re going to make it hot chocolate.
Now, that that’s all poured in there. We’re going to start mixing it up, that smells so good. Now, we’re going to keep mixing it until it becomes all one big smooth mixture and since the cream and butter are so warm it’s not going to take a long time. It kind of looks like an amazing, amazing hot chocolate.
Okay, so the next thing we’re going to do is mix in a half a cup of pecans. Now, if you’re really into pecan you can throw that whole bowl in there, but if you just want them as a little kind of extra texture to this then just use half a cup and next we’re going to add half of cup of peanut butter.
Okay, well that’s about half of cup there. So, what I’m going to do next is put it in the bowl of everything else. We’re going to mix all these together. Now, filling the side here, the cream and butter are still warm so that’s going to help melt that peanut butter.
So, what we’re going to do next is take all this and pour it in graham cut across and get a firm grip on this because this is heavy. We have that filled up, up to the top there we have some extra we’re going to save that for later.
And what we’re going to do with this is we’re going to put this in the refrigerator it’s going to take an hour to an hour and a half to hard in.
For the moment of truth, is it going to taste as good as it looks? Okay, I’ll get a little ice cream here even better. Oh, mg goodness even better.
