How to Make Chocolate Fudge?
Evil Auntie makes Chocolate (Fudge)
Hello there this morning we’re going to be making chocolate. All of you like chocolate,
right? We’re going to be making my exclusive family recipe handed down from year to
year of chocolate. First we start with the chocolate chips. We measure the chocolate chips
thus proportions of the chocolate chips are such that I hope two or three times as many
chocolate chips as I have butter. There, see and sometimes I pour a little bit more for fun.
Now I put it in the microwave. One minute, it softens the chocolate and then we put in
the butter.
Alright, after a minute, we take the chocolate out of the microwave. As you can see it’s
slightly soft. Now I put the butter in. One stick of butter, now one stick of butter on the
chocolate— see, now we’re going to put it in the oven another minute, alright one minute
is almost up and now we’re going to remove the chocolate and butter from the
microwave and thus it is not completely lit. I stir. It’s a little messy at present. The butter
isn’t completely melted. The chocolate isn’t completely melted but the ideas is to get
everything sort of mushed together.
Now remember what microwave— it gets hotter out of the edge and cooler in the middle
so the chance of whether they not completely melted we can move out to the edge and
next minute, they will all melt. Alright it’s time for sugar. I put in a little extra sugar.
Now have as much sugar as there was butter and again we mix. Now the sugar has a side
effect of raising the melting point of the chocolate. Finally, we use the secret ingredient,
One ounce of Canadian whiskey. Our secret ingredient is probably enough to flavor the
chocolate.
Again I stir. Now it basically takes a little bit of time to mix in with the chocolate. Some
say it is better to mix the sugar and the whisky ahead of time, others say it should just all
mixed in one. That’s up to you to find out which one is better. First I stir the chunks of
butter while slowly melting. As you see the chocolate is beginning to melt and assume
this uniform consistency.
Finally, I put in the microwave in another minute. Alright one minute is up we will
remove the chocolate. Now you can see that the extra heat where everything is starting to
form a uniform consistency. Now whisk is mixing even with everything. There we go
Bon Apetit.
