If you would like to impress that special someone with a romantic recipe, I got one for you.
Hi! I am Rebecca Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com and today I got a recipe for Chocolate Lover Cakes.
So, for our Chocolate Lover Cakes here is what you are going to need. Four four-ounce Ramekins, four ounces of Bittersweet Chocolate, a quarter pound of unsalted butter, three eggs, three quarters of a cup sugar, one quarter of a cup of flour and for garnish some icing sugar and strawberries.
The first step is to preheat your oven 400 degrees. The next step is a bit of a tip; I am going to cut some circles at a fortune paper to stick in the bottom of the ramekins with butter so the cake does not stick. After all four of you wax paper circles are put out, butter the sides and the bottom of the ramekins. Next, we are going to pour some sugar into the ramekins and top it around making sure that all the butter is coated. This is going to help prevent the cakes from sticking
So, set your ramekins aside and then we are going to go to the double boiler and melt our four ounces of bittersweet chocolate and one quarter cup of unsalted butter. This is melted. Now, we are going to whisk together the eggs, sugar, and flour until just blended. Now, we are going to gradually add the chocolate and butter mixture to our sugar, flour, and egg mixture. You have to do this very gradually because if you do not, then the chocolate will scramble the eggs. Now, we are going to evenly divide the mixture between the ramekins using about a third of a cup for each.
Now we are going to place our ramekins on a cookie sheet to make it easier to put in and take out off the oven and cook for 10 to12 minutes at 400 degrees. Now, you want to remove this form the oven when the tops are firm and beginning to crack and the edges are set. That should be after about 12 minutes but if it does not you can leave them in there a little bit longer. However, do not leave them in too long or else the centers will be melting over.
Now, to make things a little easier you will want to run a knife around the cake in the ramekin to loosen it from its position. And now, we are going to reverse it on the plate and hopefully it will easily come out. Now, you can garnish however you like but I have precut a strawberry that I am going to place on top and then I am going to sprinkle in icing sugar. The best part these cakes is their gooey center.
