How to Make Cookie Cupcakes

Audrey: Hi! I am Audrey. Boo: And I am Boo. Audrey: And we are making-- Audrey and Boo: Cookin' it up Cookie Cupcakes! Boo: Try saying that three times fast. Audrey: Alright, so what you are going to need for this, is 30 chocolate sandwich cookies, one plain white cake mix box, a half a cup of sour cream -- I mean one cup of sour cream, sorry. A half a cup of vegetable oil and three large eggs. Boo: Yes. Audrey: Alright, and remember, you can make any of this stuff with low fat to make it healthier. Boo: Yeah. Audrey: Alright, so what we are going to do is, we are going to pre-heat our oven to 350 degrees. Boo: And what we are going to do is, we are going to take these chocolate sandwich cookies and you are going to bake them in half like this and you are going to place it, fast inside up in the liners and then you are going to set the other side aside and don't eat it like Audrey did, because later, we are going to put it in a plastic baggy and then we are going to roll it with a rolling pin and it's going to be the topping for the cupcakes, and it's also going to go in the batter. So, we are going to seal that. Audrey: So let's start. We are going to take our sour cream. Boo: Yes, and we are going to put it in our batter, and then we are going to put our half a cup of oil in here and then we are going to break our three eggs in here. So now, we are going to bake at 350 degrees, for 18-20 minutes and then let it cool for a couple of 15 minutes before we add our Best Buttercream Frosting. Boo: So, we have already prepared some cupcakes. So, we have already prepared some cupcakes, because of the time limit, but what we are going to do is, we are going to show you how to make the icing and we are going to take a stick of butter, at room temperature and remember, you can always substitute our ingredients for low fats making more healthy and then you are going to beat it until it's light and fluffy and then you are going to add three cups of --.
