Hi! I’m Rebecca Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to combine the two classic tastes of chocolate and banana, here are some recipes for double chocolate banana muffins.
Now for this recipe, we’ll need a cup and a half of all-purpose flour, one cup of sugar, a quarter cup of baking cocoa, one teaspoon baking soda, half of teaspoon of salt, a quarter teaspoon of baking powder, a cup and a third of mashed ripe bananas, a third of a cup vegetable oil, one egg and last but not the least, one cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
So, this recipe’s very basic. The first step is to add all the dry ingredients together. So, here goes the flour. And now, I’m incorporating al the ingredients together in a bowl.
The next step is to add the wet ingredients into a smaller bowl. But first, we have to mash and measure the bananas. Now, since bananas vary in size, we’re mashing them into a measuring cup so we can get the precise amount. And I’m using a potato masher.
And now, we’re going to add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened.
Next, we’re going to fold in the chocolate chips and to fold means to cut and mix slightly with a spoon to keep as much air in the mixture as possible.
Now, I’m wetting my muffin tins with paper but you can also grease them to help get the muffins out when you’re done because these muffins are gooey.
Now, we’re going to fill our paper line muffin tins about three quarters full each.
Now, we’re going to put our muffins into preheated oven and cook them for 20 to 25 minutes or until the test done.
Now, I’m just going to test to see if the muffins are done with my trusted cake tester and if it comes out clean, that means we’re ready to roll.
