In this video I’m going to show you how to make a very simple, very easy Christmas card that’s
also very economical to make. This is just one example with the same design that can have many
variations. So, what I did I went to the Dollar Store and I bought a box of Christmas cards, it
doesn’t matter what they look like because we are going to cover them up so they can exactly as
some as they may be. And the good thing about during that we get how about 20 cards per dollar
or so and we also get the envelopes so you don’t have to go and purchase envelopes. Now, if you
don’t want to do this you could have this slick cut card stuffs to the same to the right size and
folded in half. And that would be a little more crossly way of doing it but also it would work
very well.
So, we are going to alter this card on the inside just one has a message no of course you could
use it this way or this way how do you want to design it. I’m going to open it like that so yeah
there is a sentiment and what you can do is cut a piece of cards stocks that you will glue over top
of that sentiment. This is a stem that from works wishing you a Joyous Christmas and Happy
New Year, you could stamp it or you could write pre-hand or you could use a sticker or anything
else you want to print a message. So that’s the inside, now on the outside you simply cut two
pieces of cards of paper, scrapbook paper and glue them like so. Now that we have the papers
glue then place, the next step is to put it there and that a contrasting color alone here. I’m going
to use two different types of ribbon as I did before and would glue them down like that. Now,
you could have to the sleeve but use of contrasting paper perhaps narrow working this one or
piece of lace or some wreck track or a sticker or anything you wanted too to cover that border.
Now that I glued the ribbon in place I am going to glue a little bow on here, it’s from a design
perspective itself which a good thing to break up along solid line with something like that. Now
the thing to remember if you are going to mail your card you need to keep it flat so you’ll be
looking for embellishments that aren’t too bulky but on the other hand if you’re going to deliver
your hand, your card by hand then the skies the limit. So that stand I put the stamp down here
Merry Christmas it doesn’t show up too well and the next move will be to decorate up here. So, I
am going to be using this trees that are actually there stamp but this shape is simple enough to fit
should could cut them yourself from card stock or scrapbook paper if you wanted. Just little
triangles with his top at the end for the tree so I’m going to attached them using a 3D glue to they
will stand up a little bit and I’m going to put it a tiny dot of gold glitter glue at the tips of
everyone of them.
So here is my completed card I added to three little Christmas trees, the place the bow here and I
put some another gold star stickers on the middle tree down here is stamp to Merry Christmas
and here is the inside so that’s one variation and I’ll show you some other set made using the
same design. This is very similar except to a few to note line sticker up here and another one
down there and that’s the inside. Here’s another one different check colored paper, the kind is a
stem made with browning and this are outline stickers on the inside just a little bit of paper. Here
is another one outline sticker with different color bow, outline sticker this is a little velvet blue
that you can buy on packages of 25 we sell it may calls. At this one this is a wide ribbon with a
bow and an outline sticker it says, Merry Christmas. Here’s another one gold up bend across here
make from outline stamps and the red Merry Christmas sign. Another one similar outline stickers
and here is two lives made these two stands up the other direction which is a large line sticker
and the little trim at the bottom and done the inside stamp with the pine cone. And another one
similar stand up that way, ribbon, ribbon and on the inside stamp with the pine cone. So that’s
just a few examples of cards you could make using that basic design. If you would like this video
