How to Make Faux Stained Glass Christmas Ornaments

Using color for felt scraps create beautiful frosting glass ornaments. Choose a pattern you like then glue it to a piece of cardboard. Cut out the pattern on the outside pattern line.

Using these pieces as a template, draw around the outside of the main ornament shape using a fabric marker. Cut out that piece of felt. Now from the pattern on the cardboard, cut out one of each of the smaller shapes that you will need, in this case one A and one B. draw a around those shapes as many times as necessary on a contrasting color of felt and cut out. With a little tacky glue, glue each of the small shapes to the main shape, leaving about a quarter inch space between the pieces creating the illusion of the letting of a stained glass window.

After the felt is dried thread a needle with floss and thread the floss through eh top of the ornament, creating a hanger, try different color combinations of felt to create unique ornaments.
