Hey thanks for stopping by I’m Chef Billy Parisi and you’re watching Fix My Recipe on wsoctv.com. Our new meal solution recipe brought to you by Lowes Foods is an amazing Herb Rubbed Grilled Pork loin and right along side are some roasted sweet potatoes.
The first thing we’re going to do is combine our dry herbs so in a bowl we are going to mix together this dry Marjoram, Sage, Thyme, Basil and for a little zest we’re going to add in some lemon. Once these herbs are completely combined, we’re going to go ahead and rub them right on to our pork chops. We’re going to put a little plastic wrap right on top, we’re going to let it sit in the corner for at least 30 minutes to bring out all those flavors. This is perfect because in the meantime we can go ahead and prepare our sweet potatoes. Be sure to wash them off with water and we are going to cut them up, place them in some tin foil that is lightly sprayed with non-stick spray, we’re going to add in a little bit of butter, salt and pepper, form it to a tent and get it ready to cook.
I’ve been waiting patiently for 30 minutes and it is time. Our pork is nice and rubbed down with those herbs, our potatoes are ready to roll and you guessed it, like you get outside and get this on the grill. First let’s go ahead and place our sweet potatoes on the top wreck of this amazing Viking grill and next we are going to place our pork right on the bottom grill.
We’re cooking at a medium high temperature or roughly 375 degrees. If you’re cooking at pork is going to take about four to six minutes on each side and on those top rack of those sweet potatoes you’re looking at about 15 to 20 minutes. Seriously, need I say more how amazing does this look and you know what, it’s got a little taste. So much flavor in this dish and you saw how easy this came together just in case you’re busy and most importantly it is very nutritious.
