Hey! It’s Lee Hayward here, from LeeHayward.com. And I’ve got another muscle building nutrition tip.
I’m going to show you how to put together a really quick high protein breakfast, and actually it’s a smoothie and I’m going to make up in a blender. And I’ve got 1 cup of liquid egg whites poured into the blender right now, I’m going to toss in a banana, some carbs as well as some vitamins and minerals, and it just make it taste good as well. I’m going to toss in some oatmeal, now this is just dried oats right out of the bag. And I’m going to put in about a third of a cup of dry oatmeal. And I’m going to put in some way protein, this way protein that I’m using is a dramatize slurp way, and it’s the bar toffee flavor, and it taste really good. If you’re looking for something, you know, other than typical chocolate vanilla flavor type protein, I really recommend this one; it’s one of my new favorites.
All right, so I pour in the egg whites, oatmeal, banana, and way protein put into the blender, and just mix it up. And there you go, that’s it. I’m going to drink this directly out of the blender. So, just a quick recap of what we’re getting here, there’s 25 grams of proteins, through the cup of egg whites, there’s about 40 grams of protein from the way protein, and then we’ve got about 30 grams of carbs from the banana, and probably another 25 grams of carbs dissolved from the oatmeal. So, also we have about a one to one ratio, actually a little more at, there’s a probably 65 grams of protein and only about 55 grams of carbohydrates for this drink. So to break, you know quick, easy, meaning it took me, you know, a couple of minutes, to put this together, and just woof it down, and as far as clean ups are concern. I mean it’s just rinsing it binder, so you can get that a try, a really quick high protein breakfast that you can have, you know, when you are in a hurry. You want to start your day off right.
