How to Make Homemade Beef Tomato Soup
Good evening tonight I am going to show you another delicious Chinese soup called Tomato Beef Stew. In tomato cuisine it goes very well with beef so in lots of dishes we cooked beef with tomato. And tonight I am going to show you this recipe is a soup recipe, it is China the main ingredients will be in the soup it will be tomatoes and beef with pot. Because you see more days we tend to eat more healthier so I add two more other vegetables in, you can add a little there when the soup is done and eat as this as it is.
Or you can just pick the other two soup and vegetables out and eat the tomato with beef. Or either way it is all very delicious, let me show you the ingredients. For this Tomato Beef Stew in soup, the main ingredients we need as about to four small tomatoes peeled and deseeded sliced here, four small tomatoes. And about 500 gram which is one pound of the stream beef cut into about three centimeters chunk. And boiling then in water for a minute and then rinse on the cold water and drain that set aside.
You will also need two eggs here and one inch of raw ginger and just cut to whatever roughly chopped. Also we need the two spring onions roughly chopped here as well. And the string beans I added two more other vegetables in and if you don’t have it, you can leave out which is in half head of the Chinese white cabbage. You can get from any supermarkets, now this is not a problem. Also two carrots as well and chopped here and for the cabbage you just roughly shredded them this size. We also need one tablespoon of Shao Xing Chinese rice wine and we needed some black pepper fresh down to the pepper. About one teaspoon of salt and also one teaspoon of chicken powder or chicken bullion I have here. And about 1.5 pints of chicken stock, home made chicken stock if you don’t have it, you can just simply use 1.5 pints of water.
Let me show you how to cook this, in with pot with 1.5 pints of chicken stock in a big pot. And then we add the beef and the tomato, ginger and spring onions and also other two vegetables. The Chinese white cabbage and the carrots and then we add this one tablespoon of Chinese rice wine. Then we bring the soup to boil, once the soup is boiled and simmer the soup in a moderate heat about 1 ½ hours or until the beef is tender. When the beef is tender, add the seasonings and fresh ground black pepper and one teaspoon of salt.
And stir into the soup, add one teaspoon of the chicken powder or chicken bullion and just pour the egg in. Give it a stir, there you go, Tomato Beef Soup, here is our delicious nice, lovely Tomato Beef Soup.
