Male: Why did you put the knife in the hot water?
Female: Because a hot knife slices through wax a lot easier.
Male: Okay. What do you have in there? Just oil and water in a pot?
Female: Oil and water.
Male: And these are your jars?
Female: Yes.
Male: Okay. What are you going to do in there?
Female: I’m putting hot glue on the bottom to hold the wick down.
Male: And what are these? Just mesh and jars?
Female: Yes.
Male: Okay. What are you doing there?
Female: Strawberry cheesecake scent.
Male: Just pour a little bit in there, that’s all?
Female: It doesn’t take much.
Male: Okay. And what are you doing?
Female: This is the dye. This is red. It doesn’t take much of that either.
Male: That was it?
Female: Yes. It doesn’t take much. It looks like Kool Aide.
Male: It sure does. Okay. What are we doing here?
Female: Pouring strawberry scent into a candle. It’s actually strawberry cheesecake.
Male: About how long do these candles burn?
Female: Just how much you burn them. You burn them all day everyday, it won’t last you a whole long time. But if you just burn them for a few hours a day, it’ll last longer. It all depends on the person.
Male: What about total burn time? People would want to just let it go 20 hours—24 hours.
Female: Probably longer than that.
Male: That’s it?
Female: The wick string until they drop.
Male: And then that’s it—just put those on there to keep the wick straight.
Female: In a couple of hours, they’ll be ready to go.
Male: Cool.
Female: They’ll start drying. And that’s your strawberry candle. I filled them about higher than normal because the wax shrinks when it dries, it will go down.
Male: Now, those are the ones that we made earlier I think.
