Hi I am Chef Keith Snow and welcome to my kitchen.
I want to show you how you can make your own lemonade. You are not buying that stuff in the can are you? Come on it is so simple. Watch how I do it, very simple.
First thing you need to do is make simple syrup, and for me, I am only using quarter of a cup of sugar and also quarter of a cup of water and that is the ratio when you make simple syrup.
You are going to make cup of simple syrup. You use about a cup of sugar and then the same amount of water. Very simple, you are just looking to dissolve the sugar in that water and while that does that, let us pay attention to our lemons.
We are going to make about a half of galloon lemonade, I am going to use the juice of four organic lemons. So the first thing you want to do is give these things a good role because that is where breaks up the membranes and the juice inside there.
Okay, so we are going to use this little lemon squeezer but one thing I have learned with that is this little nibs on the end of the lemon have got to go. So we will cut those off, slice this in half, good little workout.
And the fresh lemon juice really produces much better lemonade than those packets of funny powder.

Alright, of course we captured all the seeds and now let us focus on our water, good cold water. Now, we take our little simple syrup mixture. Little sugar, little hot water, we will put that in there. Then we take our lemon juice. That is the juice of four whole very juicy lemons.
Okay, pour that juice in there and take our lid here, I will just give it a quick shake to combine and then we taste. And that is all natural lemonade that you can be proud to drink and serve you kids. Bring that to your next barbeque.
