From what I recall, this is also a fairly good way to hurt oneself if they don't know what they are doing. Especially when using Liquid Plumber (which is either a rather powerful base or acid, I can't remember which).

Electrolysis sucks for hydrogen production because it's extremely slow, even at fairly high voltages. If you don't know what you're talking about, stfu.

You uh, know there's an easier way, right? And guess what? You get oxygen outta the deal! No mucking around with deadly chemicals. It's called "Electrolysis&q uot;. All you need is a battery, some wires, and some water.
