Sounds like many fun things can be made from Hypertufa. Step by step instructions are provided and shown in detail. Like this video and appreciate the very important mentions from folks commenting on this video before me. Thanks for the cautions. I will be wearing a mask and rubber gloves for this. I'll probably try making stepping stones first. Thank you.

The guy in the video didn't wear gloves. You are supposed to wear gloves when working with portland cement or you will eat the skin off your fingers.

I saw the tufa pots episode on Create but did not get the recipe for the ingredients. Thank you for producing this informative segment and making it available on-line for review. I noticed in this episode, one of the presenters mixed the tufa mud with his hands. The lime in the mixture is very caustic and will dry out his hands. I suggest gloves while handling the mud.

Solid information. I'm going to use rubber gloves and smaller hand tools rather than messing up leather gloves.

I agree mask would be safer. My friend used to pour concrete and I've heard what concrete can do to your skin if you don't wash it off. The lime is caustic. Also I find this guy annoyong because he's a dork.

Nice intro video but where are the masks? The dust from this stuff is bad, please be careful. Do a little reading about safety when working with hypertufa. it if fun, just be smart (safe)!
