Why wouldn't you just brush regular olive oil (liquid form) on the fish?

I would think you would contaminate the olive oil when you brush it on raw fish and return the brush to the oil again and again. I do like the idea to use instead of margarine, though.

How to Make Low Fat Margarine or Butter Alternative

Now, I do not actually use butter in my house. I came across somewhere they says that if you take straight olive oil and pour it in to a container and set in a fridge or the freezer, it turns solid. And these makes a great happy alternative to butter or margarine and the only thing I find is the longer we that out of fridge that quick in turns back into liquid rather quickly. So, you have to, kind of, be quick with it but it does do a – it does tastes great and works really well. [Music-Playing] Longrevy
