While there certainly is a lot of shock and feelings of doom and gloom, there is still the good news! As these days continue to grow dark and the realization of real evil becomes apparrent, you can also know there is a living God, who loves each one of you very much and if you turn to Him, and sincerely want to know who He is, I garauntee you, He will make sure you know the truth. Just ask, He knows how hard it is to "know" in this world.
