Ivy Hartman: A new look for “Count Me In” and the “Make Mine a Million Dollar Business Program” but the mission remains the same. The presentation before the judges and audiences is just one way to Make Mine a Million Business inspires women to grow their firms to one million dollars in revenue. There are also workshops, panels, and other networking opportunities. Moderator Sharon Epperson, CNBC Business Correspondent also added a new twist at the latest Entree Awards Program in Atlanta.
Sharon Epperson: Right now, I want to ask you to the finalist the same question and that’s not usually I do because of course as a reporter, I’m always asking probing questions but I must say, they have an idea what this question is I think. And I think that you can answer it pretty well. I’m going to each ask the same question and that is, what is the single most important strength that you personally bring to your business that you believe will contribute to its ultimate success?
Female: My strength is passion and love I have for the animals and what I do.
Female: I love people and I love honor because it comes actually from them and can we give them something that they really desire and they have a certain thing on their mind. I love to say, “Yes, you can do it.” And then my partner and I will step out to achieve a dynamite product that and it will really bring to your home and we’re going to say, “Wow, I love it.”
Female: I tend to be quite personable with my customers and when I do it, I listen to their needs and I just help them whatever I need to do to help them. I’m just give them everything I can.
Female: An estimation that a pit bull. I have not let go of my business no matter what challenges I face. So, I know that I can face any challenge and any obstacle and I will come out a winner in a million dollar company.
Ivy Hartman: But one thing hasn’t changed the inspiring stories of these women who aspired to build their businesses to a million dollars and beyond.
Sharon Epperson: I love a party and what’s fabulous is you already hear from their stories, the networking opportunities about all these women and you know they’re staying to be in touch with one another and growing in businesses together is fantastic.
Ivy Hartman: I’m Ivy Hartman reporting for SBTV.com where small business is our only business.
