Thank for stopping by, another episode of fixmyrecipe.com. I'm Chef Billy Parisi and our next featured fix of the day goes to Bob Teasel. And wanted one of those muffaletta sandwiches, you know what I'm saying? He says there is just something missing.
Yeah, Bob, how about some flavor? You got nothing on here. you got a couple of pieces of meat slapped on some bread. That’s not a muffaletta sandwiches. Pay close attention, we are going to cook you up.
First things first, let’s oil up our nice Italian bread, put some seasonings and some herbs on there and that’s toasted, no one wants saggy bread. Little extra virgin olive oil brushed on and some dry herbs, equal parts oregano and vassal. You got to have salt and pepper here and of course some parmesan cheese.
Now, I do realize this may not completely stick to the bread but it is going to add some flavor. Not everyone has a grill, so let’s pop this bad boys right on trusty old George Forman.
Oh yeah, toasted bread, not saggy bread. That is going to be awesome. And bob, this where most of the flavors come in from, you know. Alright Bob, now that we found all your flavor right here, let’s add our meat, cheeses and olives. You know, as an Italian, you got to have salami on this, these sandwiches. And just a little bit of extra flavor, let’s add some fresh roma tomatoes.
Bob, I cant hardly wait to taste thing, which looks so good. But for the mean time, thank you very, very much for writing and it was a real pleasure to take care of this for you. And don’t forget, use fresh herbs, salt and pepper, extra virgin olive oil. It’s not a couple of pieces meat slapped together with some bread, it’s flavor, Bob. And here it is, muffaletta sandwiches.
Thank you again for writing in. keep submitting those recipes and soon, yours will be the next fix of the day.
