I love beautiful blue skies, fluffy clouds, being in nature and I love cooking.
But for now I want to share my cooking adventure with you. Today I made onion potato soup the microdac version of course. And since I like to keep things very simple and since I was making three bowls of soup I stuck to the very simple form of three, three, three. Three slices of toast, I shaped the edges to make them round too don’t you think. I use two large potatoes but actually I should have used three small potatoes and I use three onions actually I think the type of onion makes a difference in taste. Maybe I should have use the Vidalia onions I mean because they are so good.
Anyway when you make yours use the best ingredients you should also use seasons and herb that you like. Things that make you go, uh-huh good.
Okay about making my onion potato soup you want to cook your onions in butter or margarine, your choice. And then you want to add small bite size bits of potatoes and then simmer it for about 30 minutes, place your simmered onions and potatoes in an oven safe bowl, okay. And then put some cheese on that, top it off with your toast. I also wanted to tell you something in secret. I like to add some white wine to my onion potato soup. Anyway, then bake in your oven for 30 minutes and about 325 degrees. If you are creative person you will love experimenting with this little dish and if you are a stay at home, work at home person you’ll love the simplicity of it. In the mean time enjoy.
