How to Make Pan Fried Whole Trout

Speaker: Whether you are camping, fishing or visiting the fish market, fresh trout on the fire is a scrumptious breakfast or dinner.

First in a shallow dish combine half a cup of flour, half a cup of cornmeal, one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of cayenne pepper and mix. Dredge the trout in the flour mixture and set aside. Now heat and oil a cast iron skillet and fry the fish for about four to six minutes on each side or until the meat flicks with a fork.

Hand fried whole trout.
