This video only tells you to rip out the inner seams on the legs. [Which, I think, most people could have figured out for themselves!] In order to see the rest of the tutorial you have to pay a monthly membership fee to join Jenny T's site. Lame!

How to Make Pants Into Skirt

Hi! I am Jenny T with simplesewingprojects.com, and today I am going to convert these drawstrings pants into a skirt. The first thing I need to do is take a seam ripper and I am going to rip open the inner seam from the pant ankle all the way up through the crotch and back down through the other ankle. Get started, I am going to trim off the bottom hem of each leg. As you can see these pants have seen better days, it's already started the process for me. So I am just going to quickly trim off each bottom edge here just along the seam line. Then I am going to take my seam ripper and start getting in there and ripping out that seam.
