Alright, we’re going to cube the pears now after we’ve washed them. Now that we have our pears cubed for our salad, we’re going to dice up a couple of walnuts. You could also use a food processor for this as well.
We’re going to chop up some romaine lettuce that we’ve already pre-washed. Right now, we’re going to make the dressing now that we have our chopped lettuce, we’re going to use blue cheese, the diced walnuts, and now we’re going to add about half a cup of olive oil and three tablespoons of balsamic vinegar to the dressing.
Now we’re going to add about a quarter cup of parmesan cheese. Alright, we’re going to mix it all together until you have a thorough consistency throughout in making sure all of the ingredients are mixed thoroughly and you can see that it really doesn’t have the consistency of a traditional salad dressing so we’re going to add about half a cup of water so we can get that more salad dressing consistency. We’re going to mix that together nice and good too. There you go, it looks a lot better. So now, go ahead and take a quick taste of it. In my opinion, it’s a little bit more vinegar and at this point you can vinegar to taste.
Alright, so now we’re going to add in the chopped pears to the salad and then we’re going to add in the dressing that we just prepared. You’ll probably going to have about half of it, mixing it up and then you’re going to add some more depending on the taste you want. And again, you want to make sure that you mix it thoroughly and get the consistency. We’re going to have a little bit more dressing here.
