lol boil the toms first...their being blanched so they can remove the skins more easily. Its a method of making salsa without having chewy hard skins if your toms are not quite ripe enough.

I live in Austin, TX and this is not the Pico de Gallo I love--for something much more fresh--do not boil the tomatoes at all!! That's what you do for salsas, not Pico. Use white onions along with or instead of red--they give a bit more flavor and don't stay on your breath as long. And more jalapenos!!! Where are you getting any spice with just one??

Nice video. I experimented by adding 1 medium semi ripe avacado that had been peeled, deseeded and diced. Great contrast in textures and flavors.
