Wrong title, this is Pomme dauphinoise, not Pomme Dauphine

Hello there, just to let you know the title of this video is incorrect, the recipie is for pommes dauphinois Not Dauphine as listed, I would love to see somebody make Pommes Dauphine, I just tried to make some and it went a bit wrong, I'd like to see someone pull it off so my second attempt is not a failure, many thanks

this isn't pommes dauphine. this is pommes dauphinois. different dishes.

How to Make Pomme Dauphinoise

Hey! Thanks for stopping by, you’re watching fixmyrecipe.com. I’m Chef Billy Parisi and we are continuing our side dishes for potatoes, you know, we get all those random e-mails “I made steak, I made this, I have no idea what to put with it!” Today we’re doing potatoes dauphinoise, an amazing recipe fix that all of you are absolutely going to love. Dauphinoise potatoes are really awesome because it’s almost like everyone I put in there, herbs, onions, whatever you want to do. So, the first thing we are going to do is make roasted garlic. The best way I know how is in two cups of olive oil, add in some whole garlic cloves. It takes about 30 minutes on medium to low heat. They’ve turned a perfect golden brown. Next, strain them, be sure to save that oil because it is wonderful to use for other stuff. Put them in a blender, make it a perfect puree. And next, we need to sauté off these onions. While everything is sautéing, in the mean time we are going to peel and slice these potatoes and hold them in water, and get them ready to add all our ingredients together and these dauphinoise potatoes. Okay, once everything is done cooking and prepared, now we are going to put everything together. So, in a large bowl, add together this cream, milk, whisk those eggs. Next, whisk in that garlic. You needed to combine and this is the best time to actually mix it. Next, we’re throwing in our herbs, our sweet onions that we sautéd and then we’re going put in our potatoes and butter. Very crucial fat is flavor you know that, season this up very well with salt and pepper. Next, we’re going in a sheet pan that is sprayed. Be sure to spray with nonstick spray. Then we’re going in the oven 350 degrees for about 55 to 60 minutes. Look at how unbelievable this looks! We are going to get this plated up ASAP and I am going to eat this. All those herbs come right out and that roasted garlic really put the finishing touch on this potatoes dauphinoise. Check out my Steak Au Poivre video.
