Recipe for Prawn Rolls
Ingredients needed: A few medium prawns with the—on top, maybe a quarter egg beaten, a handful of spring onion, two garlic cloves, one red chili and a pinch of pepper. Also, you need some spring roll of pastry.
Slip the inner side of the prawn so that they don’t curl up when you fry them. Peel and separate all the sheets. Put them all together and just cut it diagonally to make a triangle. Crush together the garlic, the chili, the black pepper and spring onions. It should all look like this when it’s crushed up. Now, take a sheet. Put a prawn in the middle and some of the mix then fold it over like so. We’ll take that slower so you can learn how to do it. So, just put the prawn, put the chopped—flip one side and then tightly roll it and put the egg at the end just too tighten that up and just one last turn. Make sure it’s quite tight because you don’t want the prawn to roll.
Heat up this handful of oil. When the oil is hot, just put the rolls in. Just keep turning them over so that they brown on each sides. They are browning up now. You want them evenly brown. Now, take them all out and put them on a paper towel to suck out all the oil. And there you have it, Prawn Rolls with sweet chili sauce.
