How to Make Rachetti Branch Wedding Favors

Hi, this is Beth at jordanalmondflowers.com. We are going to make a rachetti branch today. I am going to show you how to do it. This is a rachetti branch, which is also known as a five-almond favor. It is a variation of the Jordan almond flower. What we are going to need is almond holders, five of them and we need floral sprays, some small floral accents like this small little descent flowers Jordan almonds some floral taped and of course ribbon. First we are going to take the Jordan almond and put them inside the almond holders and place it in the middle. Fold it over and we are going to make five.

We are going to take one almond holder and face it this way. Take a floral spray and attach it to the first almond holder. I will twist them together. I am going to start to build our rachetti branch. I will be going to put the second almond holder next to the first one, just like that, and then I will go and take one of my small flowers and attach that. I will tape it off with a floral tape then I continue to build the rachetti branch and each time wrap with floral tape.

On this flower I am going to add another inner descent flower, overlapping the first. Next on the holder, twist the wires together. Keep them straight and again wrap with floral tape and one more. Now the floral tape is going all the way down to the stem to finish it off. I just twist that one. The floral tape goes back up and we are going to finish it off with a nice bow. So I cut the ribbon about 10 to 15 inches long and just tie a bow. There you have a favorite tag or some personalized ribbon to this stem as well and there it is.
