KittyKill Pam: Hi, welcome to Craftster Quickies, where we show you fast, easy, and great looking project you can make in just a matter of a minutes.
My name is Pam and today I am going to show how to make ultra bright rainbow cupcakes. This little gentle brighten up any party and make you a star for the day. The materials will need today are white cake mix, gel food coloring, serving bowls depending on how many colors you are going to use, a muffin tin, cup cake liners, spoon, toothpicks or another small spoon and a glass of water. If you want to decorate your cupcakes, you can use icing, cupcake wrappers, sprinkles and little picks. Now it's clear and get cooking. Now we are going to be cooking so make sure you wash your hands no one wants your stinky germs.
I've already mixed up my white cake batter, if you have a problem using commercial batter you can certainly make one from scratch the same goes with the artificial dye, if you don't want to use the dye you can make you own using beaks wheat grass juice or blueberry juice. Now it's time to spoon in my white cake mix. You want to spoon in about 3.5 spoon flours of the white cake mix per bowl. It's one, two, three, and half. Now this isn't an exact science that the last done it. Now, lets put it in the sink and set for the side, and get it for our dye.
Now let's add our gel dye to our batter. I'm going to use a little spoon, but you can start off with the toothpick and then move up to see how dark or how bright you want it. Use about one-eighth of a tea spoon of the dye put it in there, kind of scroll it around, get it start mixing up. Looks pretty good, put my dye to this side it's a wonderful bright red, now I'm going to do this for six more colors. I'm finished with my last color, now let's grab some more spoons and my muffin tend to start layering. I love how varied my colors turned out.
Now I am going to start layering my cupcakes. I going to move some of these out of the way, so I can start with my darkest color which is purple. These are the layer let's grab our muffin tin, take our purple, and spoon it in to each one. Make sure that you spread out the colors so it goes all the way around the bottom. I am finished with my last color, so now I am going to layer the next which is blue. Here is the tricky part take a small dough with the blue, set it gently on top of the purple.
Now grab your water take your finger and spread it to the sides of the cupcake pan like so. There I am finished with my blue, now I am going to move on to my next color. you continue to layer each color just as I did the purple and the blue. If you don't fill comfortable using your finger, you can use a toothpick instead. I am done with all my layering now it's time to bake them according to the directions on the box. Now put them in the oven. While you're cookies are baking, you could read to your dogs, you could do some stitching or practice your vibraphone.
It seems the cupcakes are done, they are. Cupcakes that I want to eat right now. After my cupcakes are cooled, it's time to decorate them. I am going to decorate them with frosting and sprinkles. Yahoo! My rainbow cupcakes are finished, and now I am going to eat them all myself I should probably share. Nope, they are all mine. Until next time, this is Pam with Craftster Quickies.
