Hey, guys this is Vince DelMonte from YourSixPackQuestl.com. I got another video coaching lesson for you today, and we are going talk about how to supplement your nutrition plan with smoothies, protein shakes, holds workout recovering drinks, whatever you want it to call them suit yourself. I am going to kind to show you what I drink at the end of one of my workouts during the mass gaining phase, and how I adjusted during the fat loss phase and it is actually pretty simple. There should be two things when you are building your protein shake or your smoothie. You should have some carbs, and you should have some proteins.
Now I am going to be getting my carbs from the chocolate milk here. Make it taste good. Again if you want, you can go with fruit as well, you can go with juice. There is a lot of ways to be creative. I am going to be mixing it with a banana, which is also high Glycemic such as the sugar in the chocolate milk which is going to spike my insulin intentionally, which is going to help shuttle the protein power into my body. Just because I am putting the protein in my body does not mean it is actually going into the muscles. That is the importance of the insulin.
Before actually mixes up and drink it, I want to make some comments regarding fat loss. Very simple to manipulate this for fat loss, you base you want to get rid of the sugars. If you get rid of the banana and the chocolate milk, and you just keep the protein powder in the water. You are going to have protein that is going to help maintain your muscle mass. It is going to control you insulin levels, and remember the fats are going to come off from the caloric deficit you have create from your meal plan as well as the hormonal response for creating from the high resistance weight training.
It is a little boring but sometimes this is what it gets the job done. If you are an advanced guy who try to burn off the lots couple percent of body fat, then you might even want to just stick with real fruit. Okay, let me show you how we do this. Very simple.

I am aiming for about a two to one ratio of carbs to protein. That is if you are focusing on building muscle. You know if you are, training are really hard and you need to keep your carbs some act there more, so you are going to have to keep more carbs in your body, in there program even though it is a fat loss program which is in a big deal. You might want to do a one to one ratio of protein to carbs and I teach you all these formulas in my program, YourSixPackQuest.com so you get it right.

And remember guys I just finished the very, very intense weight training workout so my stores are depleted. My body is craving for this. This is going to right into my muscles. Now this is going to get converted to fat unless the overall calories are too high.

Add some mass of shake. That is for two shakes. I will probably drink half of that now, and after that in about an hour from now, or after I go take a shower.

Then that is it guys! So again that is a way to make your life easier if you do not have time to bring a can of tuna or chicken breast to the gym, which most people do not or are going to do. This is your back up solution. For example, you are going to make stuff like chocolates splits, chocolate protein powder, papaya juice, strawberries, and banana. That is a great healthy smoothie. For make a fruit smoothie with vanilla protein powder, papaya juice, raspberries, and strawberries. You can make a snickers protein shake with a butter cream toffee protein. You can make it with milk, peanut butter, a banana. You can make the looney, tropical flavor lean body protein powder, papaya juice, banana, strawberries. As you can see there is a lots of options and these are going to actually become pretty fun. I do not recommend taking them more than one or two this a day though the majority of your calorie should come from whole foods. So enough talking, let us get drinking.
