How to Make Snow Ice Cream
Chef Jason Hill
CookingSession.com
Hi, I’m Chef Jason Hill and it has been snowing for 24 hour straight. Today we’re going
to do something fun. Let’s make some snow ice cream. First thing you need to do is you
need to capture some fresh snow and you’re going to get them about a gallon and I just
used a casserole dish to capture it. If you don’t have the opportunity to catch fresh fallen
snow when you got a few days of snow on the ground, you may want to dig a hole to get
to the clean snow and whatever you do don’t collect yellow snow. You don’t want to be
serving that to your guests. Well if your boss is coming over.
Alright we’re back inside. We’ve got our snow; I’m going to put this together. This is
something you could do with your kids on the boring snow day. Alright let’s blend to
that. To make the snow ice cream recipe you’re going to need the snow and you’re going
to need 2 cups of half and half and we’re going to put in 1 cup of sugar and a tablespoon
of vanilla extract. You can also make snow ice cream with 20 ounces of sweetened
condensed milk then placed with the cream and sugar.
Now this is far from a gourmet ice cream. You’re not going to be putting Ben & Jerry’s
out of business or anything like that. I guess that it’s just something you can do with the
kids and keep them entertained for a little while. Alright it’s all mixed up so last thing
I’m going to do is to just about a half a cup of this little mini chocolate chips. I hope you
enjoy this little demonstration on snow ice cream. Not bad are you thinking what I’m
thinking, pure genius.
Jason are you coming in.
