Speaker: Spicy Apple stuffed squash is the perfect side dish on any festive holiday table. First, heat your oven to 350 F. Next, halve an acorn squash and remove the seeds. Grease the baking dish. Place the halves skin side up, in the dish. Bake for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, peel, core and slice an apple. Next, in a mixing bowl combine an eight of a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and eight of a teaspoon of nutmeg and a dash of cloves. Plus two tablespoons of brown sugar, and two teaspoons of melted butter. Stir to mix well and add the apple slices turning them to coat them with the sauce. Turn the cut sides of the acorn squash up and fill them with the apple mixture. Cover and bake for 30 minutes longer or until the apples are tender. Spicy Apple stuffed squash, yeah baby.
