Well, today in Ferrel Kevin we are going to drinking this fine beverage Netal juice, straight from the blender straight from my balcony.
So we return to the Stinging Netal that I cut last video. And it is really taking off.
It has been growing amazingly well, sort of the light and the dark side of netal. It look amazing. I mean that is a lot of food. This will be the fourth or the fifth time that I harvested and I think this is my best one yet.
I put the netal in a blender then I added some water and I blended it all up. And I poured it into a straighter and you get this lovely green drink. And the solids of the netals are still in the blender and when I found is amazing to do with this is you just mix it with a guacamole or any sort of savory dish that they are already incorporate into. And you are raw fresh netals. One of the best foods ever and I grew this on my balcony in the shade. I mean there is lets us go take a look.
So in this time of the year, there is a direct light coming in from the South East in the morning but it only gets maybe about an hour to two hours of this direct light and then it is pretty much in the shade. All the time this is a north-facing balcony, a north-east-facing balcony and you know it is under the over hang but it still grows like crazy and pretty much all parts of the year. It close down on the winter and when it gets really hot but otherwise it keeps on growing. I keep cutting it and it keeps making more. It is amazing.
And Stinging Netal, a vegetable you can grow in a tiny little pot. So are just going to put that in the blender and see what happens.

I was expecting it to be really nar-nar, like a weak grass or something but it’s just, it is not at all. It is amazing. It is like, think about all the power that is in those, the chemicals that stings you when you get stung by the netal. There is a lot of power in those. As you know, if you have ever fallen into a netal bush, you’ll really know the power of that. And so all of that stinging power is destroyed by heat but what is interesting, the power to really sting you is destroyed by the grinding of this but all of the enzymes are still intact and alive and active and ready to go. So it is like just cup of sting.
Look at that color. I better hurry up and film it is not going to last long.
Do this, grow netal on your balcony, in a container, in your backyard, whatever and chop them, put them in a blender and strain the solids and drink this juice. You will thank me for it.
