It is quick and delicious. Start by removing the skin of a fresh pineapple using a large knife. Once the heavy skin is removed, clean up the rest of the meat particularly around the small eyes that remained, then slice your pineapple into widgets and remove the core from each piece.

Place a little less than a stick of butter into a heavy skillet and add about a cup of sugar. Then brown the pineapple slices in the syrup. When they are nicely browned on the outside and heated through on the inside, remove them to a serving dish. To make the sauce, add some heavy cream to the pan and blend it with the syrup. Then pour the sweet sauce over the pineapple and serve—Sweet Pineapple Saute.
