How to Make Windows vista Look like XP

Today’s Get Connected quick tip, we’re going to show you how you can take the new look of Windows Vista and actually change it to the old look of Windows XP. Why? Because some people just playing might be more comfortable with what they know.

First, let’s take a look at the start part. To change the start part, simply click start, control panel, personalization, theme and then click the drop down to Windows Classic. That will give you the nice classic view. You can also change the overall theme and task bar in Windows Vista back to the classic XP look, and to do that, just click the start, just kind of go to settings, go to the control panel, click the task bar and start menu, start menu tab and then click on the classic start menu. This will give you the look Windows XP versus the new Windows Vista.

Some people just feel more comfortable with the old than trying to learn something new.
