Hey, what is up’s YouTube? This is your PC Tutorials and today I’m going to show you how to basically make your computer run like it’s just out of the box. Well, not all the way like that but you’ll get, you’ll make your PC a lot much faster. So yeah, let’s get started.
First, we’re going to open up ‘Start’ menu, go to ‘Run’ and type ‘five shift percent sign tmp shift percent sign’, click ‘Ok’. And then you’ll have a bunch of files in here especially if you’ve never done this before. You’ll have loads of files and that will take a memory so just delete them all. They’re all saved to delete. Can’t delete that one because that’s what I’m recording with. See, if you get something like this, if you get something like that, that means it’s in use and it will not delete it so that how you know this is safe.
Yeah, get on to the next thing. What we’re going to do is go to ‘Start’, right click ‘My Computer’, go to ‘Properties’ and you’d want to go to ‘Advanced’ tab, and ‘Performance’. Under ‘Performance’, go to ‘Settings’ and you can adjust it for best performance but it will make everything look very old especially when you have Windows XP. It will make it look like a regular Windows Classic XP so I just did it ‘Custom’. So you can pick what you want and what you don’t want.
Yeah, you can uncheck stuff whatever you want, whatever you like, it’s up to you. Then when you’re done with that, you hit ‘Apply’. Let it load. It will take a minute to load so, yeah just give it a time. And you click ‘Ok’ and exit out of this. Then what we are going to do next is go to ‘Start’, ‘All Programs’, ‘Accessories’ down to ‘System Tools’ and then it’s called ‘Disk Cleanup’. You pick what disk you want. If you have two hard disks, pick your main one, ‘Hard Disk C’ or you can do it with both of them. It will bring up these files and you want to check them all off and you click ‘Ok’ and ‘Yes’, and it will clean them up with like dead files, temporary files and stuff like that. So just let it do that.
Then you want to go to ‘Start’ again, ‘All programs’, ‘Accessories’, ‘System Tools’, ‘Disk Defragmenter’, then you want to go to whatever drive you want. You hit ‘Defragment’. I’m not going to do it now because I just did it.
That’s all you need to do for now and your PC will definitely run faster after you restart and everything, after you’ve done this. But this will take four to five hours so do it before you go to bed or before you go out somewhere.
And then there is this program that I recommend to you guys. The link will be in the description to download it but that is only the trial and I will tell you in a minute, but it’s only the trial so just search on Google, ‘Registry Mechanic’, key gen or serial number or whatever and you’ll definitely find it so yeah. This program is, you can scan your registry and it scans for errors. I jut did it so there’s probably not going to be any, there’s probably a couple. And say if you have like errors at your ‘Windows Startup’ or ‘Mac Startup’ or whatever, it will get rid of all those errors, it will get rid of Trojans, it will get rid of viruses, it will get rid of everything. Yeah, it will get rid of DLLs errors like if you can’t install programs, it will get rid of that.
It’s found two problems in ‘Custom Controls’, so while that’s doing that, I don’t think there’s anything else to tell you guys but just in case, if you’re wondering what theme I have, it’s called Zune theme. Just search it on Google and you’ll find it, but, yeah. See, it basically scans through all these.
Now if you don’t have the full program, like I said, you’ll need the key gen. It will only do first five, these five, not that deep scan of everything. See, I recommend doing this about once a day because this really does help and I just did it before this tutorial and there’s nothing here. I only had two problems left, now there’s three. So yeah, you open this up again. See if it can, oh it does the same thing.
Alright, now once your error’s done, there’ll be a big list and you just hit ‘Repair’. Repairing is real quick. And mostly two or four of them will be ignored because they cannot be repaired for some reason but other than that everything is good. So you hit ‘Continue’, and then you can optimize your system, your processes, performance, and drive space. And you can also defragmentation right here, from here. And you can view your system information like your OS version, your OS system, your OS info, how much RAM you have, everything that has to do with your system, your graphics card, everything. So yeah, don’t exit.
You can monitor your registry, whatever you do, like whatever programs you download that will sit down here. And just tune up your services. You click ‘Recommended’ to do this, and you’ll be good to go. That’s basically it guys. Please comment or you can subscribe. Thanks for watching.
