if you want your dog to come back GIVE him or her a POSITIVE REASON to. praises and treats (more of the former and less of the latter you DON'T want them overweight) and ensuring that they "check" in with you every 2 mins or so by trotting either past you while offleash or at least being visible to you as they are keeping you, their Pack Leader in their sights as well. Wolves in the wild have leaders they look to in packs. so there MUST be THIS kind of connection between you and your dog. in fact your dog knows you're boss and that info, then he /she knows theyre supposed to listen and support Pack Law (aka YOUR rules) if you want your dog to do ANYTHING for you with as much exuberance as only a dog can show. then you encourage the good behavior while disciplining the undesirable . a happy puppy is a puppy who is rediculously essy to train. simply show them what makes YOU happy and allow for their personality. and lave on the praises THICK. you might find better results
