Recipe for zarda flavored rice or zarda, for zarda flavored rice or zarda rice you will need a handful of nuts. This are for the garnishing so you can use whatever nuts you want, two cloves, predicament pods, one cup of the smoking rice, half a glass of milk with a little of saffron added to it. Now I have the clarified butter with the gee in the pan and let it melt. Now with the hot gee I have been adding some parts and frying it a bit and now I’m adding nuts with the coconut. I just fry it, take out when slightly fried but now browned. In the same oil, add the sugar and stir and now add the milk and then stir it all together until the sugar has melted. The sugar will take around 30 second or a minute before it melts and we’ll have the rice ready to put inside.
Now we’ll add our nuts and the coconut cover and keep in a slow fire for 15 to 20 minutes. After 15 minutes the rice is now done and then you can serve it. And now decorate with pineal and then we will use this as a coil or any kind to decorate the bowl. Your zarda or saffron sweet rice is ready to be served.
