I’m Joseph Baroski, I’m at Monkey bar and I’m going to show you a really good drink that I came with called the Blueberry Joe.
It starts of with Blueberries, take a 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries in a glass, I’m going to smash out until they’re all smashed up, that’s what muddlers do. You could always use a wooden spoon and use the back of it. Add some Tequila, some triple sec and I’m going to put about two ounces of Tequila, 1/2- ¾ ounce of triple sec. And now here’s a little tricky thing that I’m going to do. Add some coffee, now it sounds a little unlikely, but I’m going to get about a shot of fresh chilled coffees. So it was just brewed and then I just chilled it, so it’s nice and cold. A shot of coffee.
When I was in this bar and I was coming up with the drink special of the day and I wanted to make like a Blueberry Margarita type drink and somebody was telling me one of the servers said something about how they love coffee drinks and it was like one of those chilly days where coffee is kind of sounds good.
But I do want to make a warm drink, so I said let me just add some coffee to this kind of concoction and I arranged the proportions differently and I came up with this. I know it sounds crazy but it’s really yummy. A splash of lemon juice, splash of simple syrup, if you don’t have that what I would do is make, some 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and just boil that down dissolve it and you could cool it off and you’ve got simple syrup.
Add some ice, shake it up, pour it into a chilled Martini glass and let all that Blueberry colt come out because that’s really what makes it so good. Enjoy that with nice company, good conversation and your Blueberry Joe, what else to you need really. Thanks for stopping by.
