Tussy Mussy Bouquet Holder
Hi! I’m Sandy with Afloral and today, I’m going to show this elegant bouquet holders. This is the box that they come in and there are four in a box. They’re very nice. They come in this silver or this mat gold finish. And what’s really nice is they have the fresh flower foam in them and there’s a hole in the bottom that water can go up and then you can seal it off with this ball that just screws on. So after you’ve use this as your bouquet, you can unscrew this, put it in your vase, and you’ve got beautiful bouquet in a vase as well. So you can use this not only to carry in your wedding but then you can use it on your table, just slip it right into a vase. I’m going to put in this vase to design in.
I’m going to start in the greenery and this time, I’m just going to make a little colonial bouquet. You could make a cascading one as well and to do that, you would just make your greens drape down a little bit. And we’ll start with the leather leaf or baker’s fern and you should have one of these sharp knives that cut so nicely and you can put little pieces all through bouquet holder.
It's got this wonderful little plastic cage on it so it holds it all in place and you want to put your stems in as deeply as you can because the fiber of the stems go into more water that they’re going to have to drink. And you want to this last not only throughout the wedding, but then if you use it in the vase, you can add water and use it at the reception as well. I’m sure we’ve all been to a wedding where we see the flowers—ahead of the scheduled time. So we don’t want that to happen so this is quite beautiful and if you have accessories that are either in silver or gold, you can pick the appropriate bouquet holder.
So I put in some leather leaf or bakers fern and now I have some lemon leaves. You can use asparagus fern or spring fern. You can use all kinds of greens. Whatever is available to you in your area and fill it right up so it's all covered. And then you won’t need as many flowers and when you put your flowers in, it will look quickly like a beautiful arrangement.
So I’ve chosen some red roses because they mean love and we’ll put some roses into our bouquet holder. You’ll notice each time I’m cutting the stem with the sharp knife, add an angle that makes it easy to stick the stem into the holder. And also, I have some Lizzie—to go in here, which is one of my favorite flowers and some heather. You could do all roses if you’d like but I had just show you a variety of flowers and here at Afloral, we have all the fresh flower accessories that you need. The bouquet holder, any kind of fresh flower, foam in between each of the roses, I am going to put a stem of. It comes in many colors, it comes in a single flower, it come in this small tie, cattled flower, quite beautiful and to finish it off, when I’m done, we’re going to add some fresh heather.
In the middle, I’m going to out three but around the bottom, I’m going use six of this flowers and then as my filler, I have this heather. And this is made a nice—even though this is kind of mono-chromatic, you can see we have the different shades and the heather will blend that altogether very nicely for us. See how quickly and easily it is top arrange into the fresh flower foam. These are quite nice products. You definitely want to give this one a try and there you go, what a beautiful bouquet.
