Hi! I am Samantha Star and this is watchmojo.com. Today I am going to show you how take an ordinary corkboard and turn it into a beautiful project for your home or office. The supplies that you will need for today’s project are a corkboard, a sheet of pattern paper, round index cards, chipboard letters, brads, paper flowers, liquid glue, glue dots, your scissors, a circle cutter as well as some small pieces of card stock.
So, the first step is going to be to cut out two circles out of our pattern paper. I am going to be using a circle cutter to do this. I am putting my circles to about five and a half inches across. So, you are going to want to cut two of these. The next step is to cutout your circular index cards from the card stock, just place heading along the black line. You are going to need two of these. So, once that is done and you can go ahead and start placing those on your bulletin board. What I am going to use to keep everything in place are brads instead of thumbtacks. And the nice thing about that is that in a few months that you get tired of the paper on your corkboard, you can go ahead and change it.
If you are having difficulty going through the layers where paper is overlapping, you can go in with your paper piercer if you have it handy and create a little hole for your brad just like that. Now, what I want to do is add some of the little card stock pieces that we have just to decorate along with some little paper flowers. Our last step is to glue down some chipboard letters to the top of our corkboard using our glue dots and liquid glue. And now I am putting on our last letter, and our project is complete.
