How to Make a Charlie’s Angel
Today I’m going to teach you how to make a Charlie’s Angel. You might think of the Charlie’s Angels from the 1970’s show. They’re very popular from then.
Now, this is a mixed drink that is shaken and poured. We need a Collin’s glass, nice and tall there. So you start it up. We want to ice that, there, get it cold.
Now start it out with shaker tin and one ounce of Mezcal. Notice that there’s a little scorpion. If you can see that one, there’s a scorpion at the bottom of that. We’ll be talking about that another time. One ounce, Mezcal, that’s strong stuff.
Gran Marnier, very nice, orange tasting. There you go. Now, I want to have about two ounces or so of the orange juice. And about two ounces of grapefruit juice, the same. Now if you have orange bitters, you can also use them. They’re pretty hard to come by so if you have them, they’re great. If not, no problem.
All right. We want to now shake that up. If you have a friend, it’s always good to ask them to have a little bit of help.
Strainer, strain that in. Now you know is that isn’t quite to the top. That’s perfect because you want to float about an ounce of soda on the top. Garnish with a lime, squeeze it, rim it, and throw it in. Just kidding and finish with a straw. Little stir. Nice little fizzy drink. I think you’re going to like that.
Remember, driving is the one thing that doesn’t mix with alcohol. So go have a great time and we’ll see you next show.
