This video bartending lesson is brought to you by American Bartender School, where in just one or two weeks you can be fully trained and ready to work as a professional bartender.
This drink is called a Red Devil, and I think the reason why they call it a Red Devil after drinking one of these or maybe two of them, you’re going to act just like the devil, very potent drink. So we’re going to use our tall glass, we’re going to use our top glass, we’re going to fill it up with ice and we’re going to build this drink. Well the first that we’re going to do is we’re going to use a little lime juice then we’re going to use a little Rose’s Lime Juice which is our sweetened, concentrated non-alcoholic lime juice, it’s not fresh lime juice. Then what it calls for is half ounce of triple sec, we got triple sec in there, vodka, our Amaretto, which is our almond flavored liqueur, sweet, half ounce.
And then what we’re going to use is our Southern Comfort, which is our sweet whiskey, a little bit of a peach flavor in there. Now what we’re going to add is our sloe gin. Remember sloe gin is not really gin, it’s made from a berry called sloe berry and it’s a little bit like a raspberry, blackberry, we’re going to use a half ounce of our sloe gin. It’s kind of red color like so. Then what we’re going to do is we’re going to top with a little fresh orange juice, it looks like a devil I guess, maybe that’s why they call it a Red Devil.
All right s there we have it, we have all these liqueurs, look at the cool colors. Rose’s Lime Juice on the bottom because that’s the heaviest that we’ve got, our Southern Comfort, our Amaretto, our vodka, our triple Sec, our orange juice. Wow, interesting drink, try one of these, try two of them, don’t drive, that’s somebody else do, designated driver. All right, have fun, Red Devil, Enjoy it.
