How to make a Duck Tape Wallet
Today we are going to make a duck tape wallet. First you need either scissors or an angular exacto knife, a cutting board or something to cut on and duck tape. First, you need a strip of about 7 1/2 inches. You cut that and take that. Next, you will -- you can put this over and tape a piece that just overlapping the other piece a little bit. Press that down then you cut that, try and cut it exactly where the other one was cut. You do this for four pieces.
After you have four strips you need to have another four strips laid over this so there is no stickiness anywhere. You want to try and get all the air bubbles out and you want to make sure everything is packed down. Everything is down and yes, that is sticky. Okay.
And on your first few times it is going to be really hard to get everything out. It took me a really long time to make it so it looked like this and this still is not very good. When you cut, you want to cut all the sticky edges of. Now you are going to make -- you are going to fold this and you are going to get a piece of tape about this long and yes, and this is so the money does not fall out. So you want to make sure everything is -- you want to try and make it all pretty even but later we are going to cut this stuff of so it really do not matter.
So, yes, okay, you are going to get something to hold it down and then you can get a piece of tape and you want to keep this, the wallet there so you can measure how much you want to do it over when you want to -- depends what you like, I usually do it a little over but you can do it under, it really does not matter under the map and you are going to flip this up so the sticky side up -- make sure everything is stuck together and even. Then you are going to try to place it in the middle but it does not really matter and fold this over like that. And you want to cut this stuff of. You are going to do that for the other side also.
See! See inside. Next, this is what it is going to look like. And if you want you could put pockets on the inside if you made it big enough. Before you make pockets you want to trim the edges, see how this is up, you want to trim all that stuff of.
