Hi, this is Sandy with Afloral and I want to show you how to make a cymbidium orchid corsage. I’ve got a piece of an artificial leaf and I'm going to put a pearl spray with it and then I will attach the two with the little piece of this floral tape which is sticky to itself but it doesn’t stick to your hands. After I attach those two then I’ll put one of the orchids on and again, you can tape at this point, wrapping all those stems together.
I don’t think one pearl pray is enough, so I will add two more and again, a little tape will hold that together and now, a second orchid flower, keeping them relatively close because you don’t want anything too big and tape that on. Now to finish off this bouquet, we’re going to put a little bow at the bottom. So we’re going to make a bow out of some narrow satin and sheer ribbon and we’ll make some little loops because we don’t want a large bow on our corsage, just one to finish off the ends and make it look festive.
Again, with 10 loops and a wire to hold it all together, we’ll twist that at the backside and our little corsage bouquet is ready to go. Cut off our extra piece of ribbon, put the little bow at the bottom and tape that together. Cut off all the extra wires at the bottom of your corsage and you have a beautiful corsage to wear. Wasn’t that quick and easy? Good luck.
