How to Make a Counterbalance Cocktail

It's time to make our counterbalance cocktail with Hendrix Gin, cucumber dry soda, cucumber juice, lemon-lime and an agave. So we will start by just releasing those aromas in our mint here. Drop that into our shaker. Then, we will add about ½ ounce of lemon juice, full ½ ounce of lime juice, ½ of fresh cucumber juice. You can just run that through electric juicer or you can muddle in fresh cucumbers as well. For clarity sake, I like to juice the cucumber so it doesn’t have that pulp to the beverage.
All right, then we’re going to add two ounces of Hendrix Gin. Here you go. About ¼ ounce of agave nectar, then we will shake that up over ice. We’re going to fine strain that to remove any shreds of mint from the cocktail itself. Top this with a little cucumber dry soda, garnish with some fresh cucumber slices, little mint. There we have out counterbalance cocktail.
