Here in our highly scientific nesting lab, there is no telling what DIY experiments will be taking on next.

Male: Science.
Female: Science. This week will be dissecting an old lampshade and converting it into a new Lase Lampshade. I hypothesized that this will be a successful ascetic equation. Find an old lampshade that could use a little revamp, pick out a sharp object like an exact to knife locate it seem and carefully begin to disassemble it and use your tool and hands to pull back your lampshade scene. Cut down the side scene of your shade, use your scissors, your hands and your patience to successfully remove both top and bottom middle circles. Scrape and cut away any remaining adhesive to get a clean metal structure for your new project. Now, take a large piece of lace and take the old shade material and lay it on top to find the size you will need for your new shade. Cut around it leaving one to two seem allowance. Take the top corner of the lace and the top of the middle circle and fold the lace over the metal and pin. Pin until you have gone all the way around.
When you get to the unfinished edge, fold once and pin the folded edge to the other piece of lace. Reattach your top metal piece to your lamp base to make sure your lace is even. Take your other middle piece and get an extra set of hands to hold it in place at the bottom of your lace. Fold your lace under twice and pin, so that your lace is holding up the metal piece.
Measure the length so that the top and bottom are equidistant all the way around. Once your lace is completely pinned, detach from the base and bring it to your machine. Set your machine to a zigzag stitch and sew along your pin lines being very careful not to hit your metal pieces. Once you have attach the top move on down and sew a zigzag scene on the bottom. Now, sew down your scene line, hand sew any areas you could not reach with your machine to get your lace shade a finish quality. A new lace lampshade. We will be back with more science when we return or someone else’s apartment.
Male1: We’ll going to settle this once and for all.
Male2: What? No!
Male1: You speaking true, let us go to the phone.
Male2: It is garbage.
Male1: It is entertaining.
Female: Thanks.

Female: Here we are in another New York Nest at Arle Bordas, the tidiest bachelor. Arle has a lot of static vision and a really great grasp of color. Arle’s home is filled with incredible art work by his brother Ivan Bordas paired with an amazing John Michelle print that finish it off his leaving room.
He has some interesting artifacts and some really pretty things but there is still plenty of do up in this piece.
As the tidiest bachelor, Arle’s apartment is immaculate, spotless, I would literarily eat of his floor if only they are going to snack candy. I wonder what he does when he is alone.
These weeks quick tip, display your Polaroid pictures and a grid pattern on your fridge or hang then up with old clothes pins like four members. They are refrigerating us in the lab.
Male: And until next week.
Female: Remember your nest needs you.
Female: Science is great.
