Rob: This week on Holly Jolly How To’s. A lessen met everyone who can wrap their head around, or is it wrap around their head.
The Scuddie, part scarf, part cuddie. I found a cool pattern if you want them Craftzine.com that was posted by VEGDY over on our blogger. So, took and old sweatshirt and got to it. Now the first thing you want to do is make your scarf. Start by cutting out the band from the bottom of your sweatshirt and with some tailor’ chalk, mark off ten and 5 inches on each side of your sweatshirt and trap the lines out across its lane.
With your scissors, cut out two separate strips cutting through both sides of the sweatshirt, now, on each one of the strips by one of the seams and rip or cut it apart. Now take your two strips to sweater and leg the two edges on top of one another, pin it and sew it together. Now, when you’re done with your scarf, you got to grab that remaining pieces of sweatshirt and chalk it a piece of cuchie. Cut it out at least ten inches open for your face. Make sure it is inside out, pin, and then sew together. Make sure you don’t sew the face or the bottom closed.
I made some extra trimmings on my hood until I got it to my desired shape, then let it down on top of the middle of my scarf making sure both pins were aligned. I pin the hood in the place, zip it across the sewing machine and I was done. A scuddie, who would have thought, and I even make some arm warmers fresh from the left of the sleeves.
Remember to check back next week for more winner fashion, until then.
